Conditions of My Parole is much like Maynard James Keenan has said it is, like Twin Peaks in the desert. Anyone who has ever seen Twin Peaks will get the reference instantly. The OST to that series is deep and moody, slow blues and mystery. Murder, occultism, and shameless affairs abound. I think that this new album does retain some of that feel, only with a sort of backwards Jerome hillbilly sort of way. Tracks flow seamlessly between each other, and there are huge peaks and gaping valleys to be discovered here. Its beautiful and intriguing, do yourself a favor and pick it up.
